Specimens may be loaned within or outside of our institution. Please review the policies and complete a Museum Specimen Transfer Form prior to accepting loan requests or sending a loan.
Specimens may also be given to other institutions as gifts or exchanges. Be sure to review policies and complete a Museum Specimen Transfer Form in these cases as well.
For transfers to another institution
Save the completed form as YYYYMMDD_ExternalLoan_FirstInitialLastName and save it here: Q:\Research\All_Herbaria\Loans.Gifts.Exchange\OutgoingLoans\ExternalLoans.
For transfers within Denver Botanic Gardens
Save the completed form as YYYMMDD_InternalLoan_FirstInitialLastName and save it here: Q:\Research\All_Herbaria\Loans.Gifts.Exchange\OutgoingLoans\InternalLoans.
